Any open trails?

I am wondering if there are any open trails yet. The Date is 3/23/01 and i am lookinf for some good trails to try over the next week. I have a 1984 stock CJ-7. If you have any that would be possible I would like to hear about them. Thanks,

We have been running Hackett Gulch for the past three weeks. A group of us are going tomorrow if you want to come along. :
A stock CJ can make it, but it is a good challenge. There is a little snow, but it is clear for the most part. You shouldn't go alone without atleast a winch or locker until summertime, and the river will get too deep for a stock vehicle in the next month, but it is about the only trail open right now.

Lefthand Canyon is open pretty much year round. It has trails that range from easy to moderately difficult depending on your chosen line.

Spring Creek is probably pretty snowpacked, but might be good to go. Probably not for a stock CJ though.

There are links to most of the Ranger districts on each trail, so if you're interested in a specific trail, you may want to give the district a call.
