Has anyone done the road up to the Battlement Reservoirs lately. I'm thinking about a run before snows flies. The last time I was up there (87) it wasn't too bad except for the bogs. They should be dried up by now.
I just gave the Rifle Ranger District a call and they said the trail is being cleared (apparently some fallen trees) today and tomorrow. They said there has been some rain recently, but things should be dried up soon. In terms of the overall difficulty of the trail, I'm not really sure. Hope this helps out a little.
