Lefthand & Carnage Canyon

Does anyone know if Lefthand & Carnage are open? Last I heard, they were both mostly closed. Anyone been there lately.

Cecil and I both drove up Lefthand Canyon today. I walked down Carnage and got some shots of some built rigs attempting some obstacles. Everytime I go to Lefthand I'm amazed that it hasn't been closed down yet. There is so much trash left by the shooters. There are beer cans and bottles all over the trail. I definitely want to get in on the next clean-up. Please remember to stay on the trail (though there are so many, it's hard to tell which trail is the correct one). Please do your part to keep the trail clean. Everything was open on 8/19/00.

Carnage was fully open today (8/27/00) saw some fresh damage on rocks, but not too much trash on carnage itself. It was great with some good challenges. Followed the trail around and dropped into left hand canyon. Wasn't expecting the off-camber on that "easy" part, easy if low and stockish - severe pucker factor if lifted up.
