Default Mt. Baldy Run on Jan 24, 2004

I would like to run Mt. Baldy or China Wall Jan. 24 depending on the response I get from you all. There are 3-5 jeeps already going, but about 20 more wheelers would be sweet. Anyone whe is up for it can e-mail me directly at articulatingtj@aol.com

It's marked on my Calendar. Never ran Mt. Baldy but China Wall is one of my favorite Relaxing trails around.
79Toy, you should have no problem. China Wall can be run in any stock 4x4 if you By-Pass the obstacles.....

I am glad to see there are some replies. For the first one you will be fine on china wall it is a fairly simple trail I ran it today 1/2/04 with a friend in a stock YJ. I hope we can get more people though. We will meet at the Florissant liquor store at 12:00 noon on the 24th.

Default Hope to be there

I'm going to do my best to make it. I'm in a stock TJ, so I hope you're right about it being an easy trail. I see the site rates China Wall at a 7, but I'm assuming that's if you tackle all of the obstacles, yes?

The trail is almost a 7 if you wheel all of the obsticals and yes there are bypasses for all of the obsticals but one. I made it quite easily when my TJ was stock. Again I am glad to see some replies, I can't wait to meet all of you. So Far we have the replies on the board, My Tj, Two YJ's, One XJ, and it looks like two CJ's!!!

You won't have any trouble with China Wall even bone stock. We ran it a while back with Stretch and took along a friend. Her TJ was bone stock, and it was the first time either she or the TJ had been off the pavement. Neither had any trouble at all.

I need to look at my schedule, but you might be able to add a Bronco to the list! Also I could ask two other XJ's to go too. Might be fun if there is more snow around! I will let you know!
