Idaho Springs 9/17

I am thinking of doing a trail just outside of Idaho Springs this Sunday. There are actually two trials, which I suspect make a loop but I have not been up either of them. One is just right of the Idaho Springs I70 west on ramp you follow a concrete barrier that runs the length of the on ramp then makes a right turn up into the mountain. The other is just passed the on ramp about a 1/2-mile and goes from the shoulder of I70 west up into the mountain.
