Default My last CO trip
I am setting up a trip to Chinamans Gulch this sat. 4/29 with my usual group, Calvary 4wheelers. Just wanted to send the invitation to you guys and gals as well. I know this is short notice, but that's the way things are for me these days.

Meet at the truck stop at 10am in Johnson Village. We'll be leaving for the trailhead at 10:15. Allow about 2.5hrs for travel from denver.

Post here if you can make it!!

So... thats gonna be your last trip in Colorado?
Wish I could join ya. I wont be in Colorado till next month.

Guess you need to break out the shorts and t-shirts, its almost Texas time for you.

I know... you have a good reason for moving to Texas and you can ALWAYS move back when your wife finishes school.
Iam SURE you guys will be MORE than ready to move back by then.
Iam stuck here till the wife changes her mind or till iam single.

Rick, I was sorta hoping the weather around here would prepare me for what's to come, but we had two days this week that barely got above freezing!! Today is in the 70's and it pretty hot for me. I'll have to get up early to enjoy the cool there!! End of May is when we'll be totalled moved in. I hope I can find a job soon so that'll be one less stress to deal with!

It's funny, there were at least three people interested in going from our group last week, but I guess things come up and it's looking like no one can make it. That's how it goes. Chinamans is such a busy trail anyway, that I am sure there will be a few folks there wheeling.

Anyone else make it??

OK OK, sorry, I did go, but not to Chinamans. My cousin said he coud go with me if I went someplace close. So we went to Carnage Canyon Boulder. We took a lot of pictures, but I keep forgetting my camera at home because we are so busy with the move and all. I will try to get pictures up tomorrow. I hope you can find it in your heart to forgive me...

Very nice. Looks like you guys had a good time. Wish I could have come. I'm going to miss 'wheeling with you but we'll keep in touch.
