light trails close to denver that are open

I want to go four wheeling on Sunday 5/22 in my liberty with a 3" and 31's. I know the hard core trails around, but if anyone has any suggestions of stuff within about and 1 to 1 1/2 of Denver that is fun and not too wild let me know.

The other thing is it has to be open right now. Thanks for your help

You can try most the trials in Idaho Springs like Ute, Cascade, York Gulch. Also Lefthand is a fun trail in Boulder, really trashed but still fun!

Good luck on Ute Creek, was there last Friday (13th), ran into obscene amounts of snow, perhaps its cleared up a bit by know.

I had been looking at the trails up in Idaho Springs, but was concerned about the snow. If anybody has any updates on the snow situation up there I would Greatly appreciate it.

I have heard several people talking about left hand, is it open again? I did carnage last year and left hand was pretty much closed.

i was on cascade creek and ute creek last weekend. both are snowed in a few miles up. ute creek is deeper. i was stoped on cascade creek more because of the steep grade with about 2 feet of snow on it.

Lefthand should still be open. I ran it like 2 weeks ago, its trashed at the entrence and anything and everything is shot at, but it's open. There where rangers up supposed to be monitoring people shotting but the whole time I was up there there where gun shots going off. Heard a rumor that this might be the last year Carnage is open. Not sure if it's true though.
