new shoes? or not new shoes?

Hey . . .
I'm relatively new to the 'legitimate' offroad scene -- I got me a 4x4, to do it right! I've got a '67 cj5 with 35" TSL Super Swampers. They're nearly new -- great tread, no damage, but are they any good? Or should I try to sell/trade them and get some BFGs?
Any insight is greatly appreciated, thanks!

I'd say going from Swampers to BFGs would be a downgrade. They may be a bit quieter but I doubt you'd get any better traction.
