Access: From Gand Junction, CO, head East on I-70 to Exit 49. Take Hwy 65 East towards Powderhorn Resort. Continue past Mesa Lakes. As you reach Island Lake, look for FR 121 heading East (N 39?2.41' W 107?59.261'). Continue of FR 121 East, the trail will start heading North. Past Bonham Reservoir, you will need to look for FR 279 heading East. Shortly after getting on FR 279, take FR 260. This marks the beginning of the trail.
